Now that is what I would call a mouthful for sure. I like the clarity of detailing both for kingfisher and fish, the contrast between the kingfisher and the diffused feel of the background which helps to make the bird (and fish) stand out strongly in the image and the catch light in the bird's eye which works to bring the image to life for me.

Wow, that kingfisher looks like it has been carrying that dead and decaying fish around for a week hoping the spines would fall off before trying to swallow it. The two eyes tell a story. Nice capture. I might try a square crop.
