The lone deformed tree makes the image ??

How odd... one wonders what must have been there in the early days of the tree to cause it to grow in this manner. The tree just to the left of the deformed tree has a very slight bend in it also. The image works well in a b&w format especially with the picture set against a grey background.

Very subtle shades of grey. In black and white, film, is often better
than digital...specially in the whites that are rarely blown out...

The normal focal length does the job quite well here...(the
photographer also,of course)

Maybe a rebel in the family because a grove of Aspens have a common root system.
Probably so they can share nutrients during the winter. Nicely done. B&W really works
with Aspens although if they're in yellow mode I'd stay with color.

Very nice image. Sporadic flowers in the foreground add a nice balance to the dense trees of the background.
