Tulip Passing

i love flowers when they are passing. The textures become even more
beautiful. One last Hurrah!

I like your treatment of this picture in terms of the bordering, the contrast between the tulip and the background which serves to make the tulip (in spite of its passing) stand out strongly in the image and the overall paintlike quality of the picture.

I like this too. Nice treatment. Maybe a little more room on the right?

Beautiful.

The tulip is magnificent. Such grace and texture and movement. Luminous. I
think the charcoal background distracts significantly - am wishing for a clean
white or very very subtle grey that will let me just admire the flower. I see
Linda's point about room on the right, but I don't actually think it is needed.
Lovely image.

A further version for Linda. Having looked at the two together I think I agree with her
about the space on the right. Thank you for your comments, they are much appreciated.

I like both of these but am overall drawn to the colour balance of
the original.

I think as photographers we are overly obsessed with not cutting off
things. We could learn a lot from painters who do it all the time.

Love the OP but agree with Linda on the spacing on the right. Good job on the processing.;-)

Love those mingling purples in A and which are not really present so much in B.

I very much prefer the OP, very nice work.

I also prefer the OP for its color and light. Quite beautiful. Wonderfully constructed.
