Well done and interesting little beast.

Well detailed images of a world that is often ignored in our lives. I like the poised feel of the crane fly standing out strongly against the diffused feel of the background and the life and death struggle of life on a small scale between the lynx spider and honey bee.

Terrific macro work,so clear & sharp.

Excellent. So sharp and the colors are so delicate. I also like the
way you cropped the legs somewhat. Different from most macro insect
work. Like the second one also.

Thanks Ernest, Jan, Nathan and JP.

I took these with a new/old, cheap lens I recently got on ebay for $65. Tamron 70-300mm (max = f5.6 at the long end). Taken at the long end at f11 and f13, respectively.
