Returning from Kamloops, the sun was just coming over the
mountains, lighting up the snow on the top of Mt. Robson.

A pretty scene to the right of where I was standing:

I like how the morning sunlight highlights the upper slopes of Mount Robson and the resulting contrast between the highlighted portion and the darker feel in the lower portion of the image.

Hanging on my wall I have a shot I got years ago riding Greyhound through the Rockies with the sun highlighting the peaks around Banff. A never forgotten experience.

Beautiful, both. Very impressive-looking mountain. Hopefully you were
driving an SUV or Subaru.

Good luck to your daughter at school. My son is just now returning to
school too to work on a Masters (he starts on Tuesday, the 19th). Sounds
like your daughter and my son are on a similar sort of schedule...

I like those frosted trees. I can remember as a child shaking branches filled with snow and seeing, feeling, and even tasting the disturbed crystals shining in the air.

Well expressed beauty of snowfall. We haven't received much this year after the initial snowfall.
