I like the perspective along the pathway with the included figures creating the sense of movement left to right, the painterly feel evoked by Topaz simplify and the striking gazebo at the heart of the image. There is the feel of an artist sitting at their easel with brush in hand with a nearly completed painting before them. I like this image until I reach the garbage can and the benches along the right edge.

These do make lovely illustrations. It would be interesting to apply
this type of finished image as a layer in various modes/transparencies
over the original. Just a thought.

Jan, before I had posted this, I did removed the bench and the garbage can by cloning but it wasn't the way I wanted it so I left it as it is.;-)

Topaz Simplify very complimentary to this nostalgic image.

It's a fine treatment for leaves. Good-looking scene too.

Lots to see in this space. The eye moves through it all at a leisurely pace. All is just so. Shows that photographers can be proficient at painting a pretty polished picture of a public path without a lot of preliminary preparation or practice.
