I walk around the downtown on a daily basis.... seeing important things and lesser things. Some I manage to photograph while others are simply ignored until one bright morning as I was walking around the buildings at the Forks I happened t see this stack of milk crates and being intrigued by the shape and colors I took a photograph.

The milk crates were out in the back with the garbage bins and the other refuse of the day to day activity within the Forks Market but on this day I found them interesting.

Taken on a Sunday morning as I walked from here to there and I passed the brightly colored doors of a closed for the day transmission shop.

the yellow milk container stood out at the back of the hotel and probably served as a seat during a smoke break.

You are liking primary colors today, Jan. And patterns. And enigmas.

Sunday was such a dull raw day with the wind blowing out of the north and a rain that progresses back and forth between drizzle and drumming on the windows rainfall. And as I looked out the window of my apartment there was the feeling that what little color I could spot on the buildings and in the streets would quickly disappear and by this morning all the colorful fallen leaves had turned to mush. So saying I thought of color for this weeks post and added in some patterns.

Great images - interesting colors and semi-abstract subjects!

Tough call between 1&2.

Had to try a little Photoshop filtering.

I like #2....Even though I know now that those are the doors of a
transmission shop, I still a train or bus when I look at the photo.

#2 really catches my eye. Reminds me of a Klee painting
