Unlike your previous image of this sunrise fall where the falls was the main element in the image here we find that while the falls is a strong focal point in the picture it shares the stage, so to speak, with the mist, the surrounding rocky landscape, and the pool at the foot of the waterfalls. I particularly like the contrast between the perceived softness of the waterfalls and the framing rock cliffs (there is the sense of curtains being opened on a stage with the falls coming out to overwhelm the viewer).

I Think I prefer the closer view, but not really fond of the colors in
either. Had a go at a monochrome conversion; hope you don't mind.

I really like the OP. Love the natural muddy reddish tone, the mist
and the aqua water. An image from a different time. I am more THERE
in the OP. LOve the look of the water spray !!
