Can't say that I really like it. Maybe the trees are too dense and bare or not enough
shades of back and white. Eliot Porter, famous for what is referred to as 'intimate
landscapes', did a lot of this type of work. I have a couple of his books and if you're not
familiar with his style just google and you'll see a strip of his photos. Tap 'view all' and
many more small photos come up. Tap a photo for a larger size. Fun to explore.

I find your black and white composition of the tree covered snowy landscape quite peaceful... it captures the sense of a walk in the woods with all the noise of the city blocked out. The long shadows of the trees serve to draw me into the image. The way the image is set up with the simple white border creates the sense for this viewer that they are looking through a window at the snowy landscape. Best with a black background.
