Well detailed, sharp with a contrast between the muted background and the downy woodpecker serving to make the little bird stand out strongly in the image.

Steve, the Downy is the smallest woodpecker in NA. It joins flocks of
chickadees and nuthatches.

Yes Sandi, The female lacks the red patch on the back of the head.
They'll land on your hand if it has sunflower seeds.
I changed the back ground, it was too busy.
