Chouinard Flight

Over PresiDacks Day weekend I talked a couple of my ice
climbing partners into climbing the classic Chouinard's
Gully at night so I could photograph them with long
exposures... (It didn't take much convincing.) This is one
of the results. I like the airplane blinking overhead in
opposition to the rotation of the stars.

Almost like the earth is cracking open.

Steve's comment captures the feel of your long exposure of your friends making the climb. And the world keeps on spinning... spinning...
