Comments by Jan Bjorklund on Sat, 02/04/12 17:38 I find there are interesting abstractive possibilities when one is photographing escalators... works here also if one crops one to the first strand on the escalator which creates a near symmetrical feel in the picture with the perspective working to lead the eyes of the viewer up the escalators. Comments by Jeff Dye on Sat, 02/04/12 17:53 I agree with Jan that there might be some abstract possibilities with an escalator but what you have here is a strictly documentary view that everyone in the civilized world has seen and stepped onto.
