The night walker

Silent, the night walker looks for
he doesn't know what
perhaps a dream

I thought at first a mysterious feel to your composition Maria but the blue hue, the large moon showing through the tree line and your comments bring more of a dream like feel to the composition. The undulating highway disappearing into the distant woods goes well with a dream and the sense of never really knowing what is going to happen next... anticipation and a sense of excitement mixed together. A grey background helps to enhance the detailing of the image.

Whoa Maria!
That is quite an impactful image.

'She's leaving home' comes to mind.

On black I feel as if I am in a movie theatre witnessing I don't know what, but something imminent and dangerous. Quite a compelling setup by the director. The iridescent blue lines catch the eye and won't let go. And the figure standing more than walking and doing something with his right arm/hand out in the middle of nowhere in the light of the moon only adds to the misterio!

:-) Wow everybody, I fee quite flattered!
Jan, Els, Michael, Linda, Gerry, Steve, Les, Ruth and Nathan, many thanks to all. I really enjoy making these. I work them on a "try & error" way, some come out nice and others lay in a transitory folder until I decide if they worth to be kept... And transmit any emotion is indeed my goal, so I'm really pleased with this one.
