A blackbird on the roof

Later in the day the nightingale
begins his love song

;-) Not really a nightingale, could not find one to photograph so the blackbird had to do...

Spare and good with the sweet singer singing praise for it's remarkable and colorful view.

Simple and sweet, with a message across the space.

There is a visual contact created between the blackbird and the bird in flight which is enhanced by the near silhouetted feel of the various elements of the image and the rose color of the sky. And why is that important? Well for me there is the feeling as if the blackbird is singing to the other bird which adds a sense of sadness to me for the departing bird.

A wonderful scene wonderfully seen. Indeed, a very nice, almost
minimalist, composition. Love the graduated rose hue of the sky.

A sweet song it is, augmenting the strong graphics of the non-living elements.

Great silhouette Maria.

Perfect silhouette of the black bird
against a complementary sky that's just
the right color and perfectly plain with
just another bird coming in. The building
has just enough detail and the diagonal is
great

John and Scott, big thank you to both. That bird is one of a blackbirds family that nests in an air conditioned box outside one of my neighbours balcony. It perching on the other building roof was my lucky day to get a cleaner photo!

I like the simplicity, the comp, the tone and the room you have given
the viewer to search out various meanings as time goes by !!
