They forget the Moonrise!

One is almost lost for words viewing your compositions Maria. I particularly like the color, the setting and the inclusion of the trio of figures all of which work to bring a painterly feel to both of your images. I like this with a grey background (in particular with the moonrise composition which works to complement the color of the rising moon).

Bravo! These are splendid! :)

Indeed, they are both VERY nice -- wonderfully composed, both. I
can't choose one over the other. They seem to tell a tale of sadness
or regression...

These were obviously taken about 30,000 years ago when people were migrating out of Africa. I think these are marvelous not only for the color, but for the emotive response any sentient person would have while looking back at their ancestors. Masterful work, Maria. May I borrow your machine? I'd like to meet a Neanderthal.

Fantastico.

Both are very good but the people in both images are in the same position in both images so it was nice of them to stand like that from dawn to sunset

Jan, Paul, Johnny, Michael, Els, Gerry and Nathan, Many thanks for all your comments. Very appreciated.
Nathan, these are composites, and it is the same base photo in both. I wish PC had a way to make always visible the category to which each photo is posted... These were to digital art.

Hardly National Geographic since they're composites but very nice
indeed. The second my preference and a favourite of mine from your
portfolio.
