Morgan's Millipede

Morgan's Florida Ivory Millipede. She has two in her
growing menagerie - this one she affectionately named
Millipede. Millipede has taken a defensive posture when
sensing danger (much like myself) by curling up and
pretending he can't be seen.

An unusual creature that puts me (from its curled up defensive position) in mind a nautilus seashell but I do like your description of the creature's curled form.

Well done, I like the shape and design, I'm curious what lens did you
use ?

She's using a Sony DT 18-70mm f/3.5-5.6 Aspherical ED Standard Zoom
Lens which while not a great lens is working fairly well for her. She
also has the 50mm prime which I am encouraging to try. She is still
learning to use a camera - she's well versed on using her phone! Ugh!
