Cellist

I did a little bit of HDR processing of this Cellist
entertaining the crowd at the Talent Trust award ceremonies
in Halifax. The Talent Trust organizing committee are all
volunteers and yours truly was asked to be the official
photographer for the event. About 15 juniors were presented
scholarship awards today ranging between $500 and $10,000.

Congratulations Gerry. The contrast between the black background and that of the cellist serves to make her stand out strongly in the image... I like the inclusion of both of her hands in the picture which together with her face creates a triangle of viewing for me. You handled the lighting well with no hot spots in the picture...

The colors and light are nice all around and her sweater and cello look good with your effect, but I'd like her face softer. Nice comp, too. I'm sure the Trust is pleased with your work!

Very nice! I'm sure the cellist appreciates this.

Nit: an adjustment to color temperature would improve this greatly,
IMO. It's a little orange-ish on my monitor.
