I like the painterly feel of your painted lady composition (especially with the image set against a black background). If actually painted or created in your imagination there is something quite fascinating about this image with its vintage feel (something out of the 1920s to my mind). The contrast between the lady and the background helps to draw her out in the image.

I've seen photos of some of that girl's work on the 'net. It would be very
cool to see in real time.

Thanks for your comments Jan and Nathan. Rest assured that no pixels
were harmed in the production of this image. All effects are entirely
analog (i.e., real paint). The decorated model and set were made
available to visitors to the recent Photo Plus Expo in NYC.
