One feels as if they should create a myth to go along with this extra ordinary view of Avalanche Gorge... it just seems so other worldly. The image works best, for me, set against a black background which enhances the details while complementing the colors of the gorge. This picture needs to be framed and hanging large on a wall.

The color and the distinct shapes of the rock with the blurred water
make a surreal scene. I might have cloned out the little twig TR.
Nicely done, blurred water and DOF suggest use of a tripod.
