Ice House Blues

Taken with Fuji Finepix

I am trying to capture some buildings in my home area that I feel will not be with us for long.

I can't decide if BW is what I should use for these old buildings?

Any comments...welcome as always.

I find a preference for the colored version... the ice house stands out better in the colored version than is the case with the b&w version. This would seem to be an interesting location to get some interior shots in the middle of summer if that were possible.

I like the b&w. And you could even put a sepia tone or warming filter from PS on it to make it even more authentic looking-as attached below.

I always find it a shame when they have to tear down these neat old structures. It's good you're documenting them.
Anyway, I prefer the color version. Just because the building is old shouldn't mean the picture has to look old too.

Just my opinion...
I might have stepped back to show more of the surroundings, maybe with that big tree to frame it more. And I think I'd have prefered a face-on shot rather than at an angle. Nice scene, at any rate.

Color for me. Or DebbiK's sepia version. Very interesting!
