Josiah, I really like the way you have captured the worker's seemingly powerful movement in bringing the tool slamming down onto the new cement. At least I think that is what's going on! ;0) I like the lighted window back there, too.

Clarity of detailing, the sense of energy that is evoked in the picture by the pose of the worker, and the contrast between that of the worker and the background all work together to create an interesting study of the working man.

Just the right ammount of blur in the right places really help to drive the title home. Was the man not going to be fed if he didn't finish on time?

I use the term, "Christian," because I often attach appropriate Christian Bible verses to my photographs.
