The leaves on the trees were just starting to turn and the sun in the top branches just glowed above the still green leaves below.

Comments by Jan Bjorklund on Fri, 11/09/07 21:46 One can almost imagine themselves kneeling at the bottom of these large trees shooting upwards towards the golden toning to be found in the foliage at the crown of the trees. I like that perspective with the sense of flow created by the tree trunks leading the eyes of the viewer upward to the golden hue and the complementary nature of the coloring of the darkened tree trunks and the golden leaves.
