Take 3

As by suggestion i converted photo to bw, cropped it a little bit from the top to get rid of washed out sky. But still something is not satisfying.

The best way to deal with a washed out sky is to exclude it in the original composition. As a B&W conversion this looks tonally flat, at least on a computer screen which isn't ideal. Play around with the contrast a little more and see what happens. The long, white area of sky sitting on the top edge of the frame could probably be filled in by cloning.

I think it does look much better as a BW due to the flat light. I've been here (and seen many photos) in ideal lighting and it's quite spectacular. The crop does help show the immensity of the view. To me it seems to tilt to the right and needs a bit of rotation. I have nothing against white skies in BW but often you need a frame to contain it. An alternative to cloning would be just a few swipes with the burning tool set at 3% on 'highlights'.

I like the B&W version the best too. Agree with Jeff's or Andy's suggestions about the sky. A little bit of more contrast, only to the midtones, also works fine on my monitor. All that aside, I find it a nice and interesting view!

Whether in color of b&w or color this setting is majestic in my mind... one of those landscapes that needs to be seen at least once in a person's life just to get full benefit of this portion of the American Southwest.
