Strawberry Splash
Comments by Christopher Azzopardi on Wed, 05/20/09 03:11 The same shot without the falling strawberry.

Comments by Jan Bjorklund on Wed, 05/20/09 09:12 I would agree with Les... there is the feel of a time lapse in the opening image which is missing from the image in the comment section. The splashing strawberry in combination with the falling strawberry does give the composition a painterly feel. I also like the bordering... simple with a clean feel. Comments by Leo on Wed, 05/20/09 09:45 my first impression was the contradiction between the movement of the falling strawberry and the frozen in time splash. i don't think they belong together. i like the second post (with cornflakes)! Comments by street junkie on Wed, 05/20/09 10:46 the first picture screams look, I can work with Cs4!! yiha.
Comments by Jason A. Stringham on Wed, 05/20/09 17:31 I thought the falling strawberry added some balance to the frame in the OP. I definately see what Leo was saying with the top being blurred and the bottom not. The frame doesn't bother me, but I wonder why it is there.
Comments by les perry on Wed, 05/20/09 18:27 Its the conflict that adds IMOH.
Comments by Maria Salvador on Tue, 06/09/09 06:36 I like both, but if I had to choose I might take the version without the falling strawberry... Comments by susanlohan on Wed, 09/09/09 15:34 Wonderful Photo!
Comments by Johnny Begood on Sun, 07/25/10 10:00 Not sure about the OP. Dont know if i like the "moving" effect of the strawberry. I would be tempted to show it as a "still" as it would still be seen as falling into the milk. |
