For a preference I'd go with a cropped version of the third picture (there is also less of the sense of the flash in the third image than is the case with the other two pictures). The inclusion of the water droplets add a textural component to the picture while the contrast between the green leaf and the darkened background works to make the leaf (leaves) stand out in the three pictures.

If this is digital and you don't know how to read a histogram you should learn how to do it.
The histogram would've shown a spike on the highlight side (the blown out area of the leaf)
and an even bigger spike on the shadow side (all the black area). Bottom line: the exposure
range is too big.

Try shooting without the flash, probably with a tripod if light was low.

Thanks for your comments everyone. I tried playing around with these pictures after taking them and that's why they have such an artificial feel (one i quite liked). This is one of the original images and i'd like to know if the comments still stand.

in my opinion flash in all the pictures is spoiling the scene.

These are waxy leaves. That's why you're getting so much glare from the flash. Good work
with flash is much less obvious. To be honest, with or without flash, these leaves aren't
interesting. Like many subjects, some leaves are beautiful and some aren't and these fall into
the "aren't" category IMO.
