This images shows the numerous lines (or ropes) on the Spanish Navy's four-mast sailing vessal, the Juan Sebastian de Elcano, moored in the Port of Pensacola (in NW Florida, USA) on 6 June 2009. Pensacola is having a 450-year anniversary this weekend.

I like this view of the masts and ropes of the sailing vessel with the picture set against a black background color. It is unfortunate that there was no sailor in the high rigging.

I like the complexity and angled intersections of the ropes - gives the impression of a serious sailing ship, and you'd have to know what you were doing to saol it.
