I like your composition of the horses and the pending storm coming over the hill... a moody feel to the resulting combination. The foreground landscape and horses is a little dark for me... I would like to lighten the foreground slightly and perhaps crop down in the cloud formation to where one can begin to see the rain falling at the centre of the image... more of a panoramic view of the setting.

feels like a fence post and barbed wire should be in the foreground... maybe some hand of man on the hill side like a house on the ridge... j/k

Just giving you a hard time on the photoshop.

I actually like where you are going on this. Love the mood and the feeling of a coming storm.

Totally busted. It's not like I was trying cheat, but the fence removed all the freedom of the picture. Actually the only thing I removed were the posts and barb wire, but I did have some collateral damage.

At what point do you cross the line of a photograph????

Thanks for the comments.

"At what point do you cross the line of a photograph???? "

When you present it as documentation, photojournalism, or forensic evidence.
In those cases all manipulation must be avoided or at least revealed.

In this case, I say:
"Fences, we don't need no stinking fences !" ;-)

Moody and effective.
Good work !

Old eyes have a hard time seeing in the dark.
