Canyon de Chelly

Beautiful canyon for those that ever have the opportunity. Only had clouds for a
few hours - the rest of the time the light was pretty harsh so I spent more time
just scouting. Hope to return with some weather other that sun.

That rock tower is really impressive...good shot.

The viewpoint works well to create a sense of the vastness of the location with the roadway in the lower portion of the image helping to bring a sense of human scale to the picture.

I like the interplay of shadows and sunlight on the rock formation.

Neat place. Wonder how the monolith looks from down below shooting up?
How does it look in color?

the clouds are beautiful, and with the conditions you described, too! I too love the shadows, which add a lonely vastness to the image.

Were you shooting from another peak? Or perhaps you attached your camera to an eagle.

Great scale and depth in this

Pretty good considering the time of day. The shadow of the cloud on the canyon floor contributes to the depth.
