I have not seen many of these little workers this year... they must be out there but so far I've only really seen them in pictures such as yours Sandi.

The black/yellow of the bee creates separation with the flowers with a further separation created between the flowers and the muted nature of the background.

Another beauty, Sandi. The bee really stands out and does not get lost in your shot like so many others that I’ve seen posted. The field of flowers is magical. Kinda reminds me of the field Dorothy runs through in the Wizard of Oz. Well done on both!
