Red & Green

Sometimes it's the colours that jump out at you - particularly
in spring.

The red barn definitely jumps out but something is lacking. Old, decrepit barns often stand
on their own as a photo subject but this one is modern and it sits there all by itself. No
people, no animals, no farm/ranch equipment. The viewer (only me so far) looks for
something and doesn't find much. The composition and the lighting are good although if I
was in your place I'd leave out the nearly all white sky.

Although this is crisp, clear, and obviously object oriented
I see it as almost an abstract composition of color, light, and texture.
In this sense, I think a crop of the right might strengthen it.

That color of red really does jump out in the image set against the various shades of green. I find myself wanting to simply have a red barn set against a green background without any lightness from the sky intruding into the scene.

I find the inclusion of the sliver of sky makes me want to look up rather than directly at the barn... without the sky my eyes are focused straight ahead at the barn.

Thanks for your comments and suggestions. Here's a revision in response.

It's better without the sky IMO but it's still a big, red, modern barn sitting out there.
Someone has a lot of money. It would be nice to see something outside connected to the
barn.

The second version is better, but I think I would still like to see some action on the grassland...nice pop colors though...

Definite the OP for me!
Because for me the red barn isn't the main attraction but those majestic trees! Love the
colour palette and the details. The sky en the barn are the icing on the cake!

Striking! I like the first one - because of the trees...

I'm with Jeff. I feel there's an images here, but can't quite see it. Best I can see while holding my hands up to create a frame is cropping the right side about half way to the barn and then croppig about 20-25% off the left side just keeping the tree with the bright trunk in the frame.
