Nice and moody image Pietro!

What's that black spot left at the top?

groetjes,
Monique

Nicely done in b&w Pietro especially with the image set against a black background color. A moody feel that find heightened for me with a crop below the large white area on the right... I like the panoramic view and the hint of the sunbeams showing against the darker clouds which I did not notice with the white area included in the picture.

Peaceful end-of-day shot, Pietro.

Good composition and works in B&W. If not fixable and I don't believe it is I'd crop to just
under the large area of blown out sky. The composition stays intact with the primary
elements. Keep an eye on your histogram. That area of the sky would've blown up the
highlight side.

Very nice Pietro! It's nice that you got a boat in it too. I like the b&w as well.

I made an HDR to correct the blown out sky.
I hope it works... :)

Your HDR treatment works better, for me, than my cropping suggestion... with a varied array of clouding in the sky over the setting sun.

Pietro,
Very courageous to do a sunset in B & W. The effect is excellent and I think the HDR for the
sky adds a lot. It would be nice if the area to the left of the island could be toned down a bit
to get rid of the noise/grain effect.

beatiful b&w

Pietro - your HDR version is SO much better and very brave to create a sunset in monochrome!
I love the way the cloud is breaking across the sun and the boat is in an excellent position making an excellent composition.
