I like your perspective with the church set against the lightness of the sky (the contrast really serves to make the church stand out strongly in the image), the sense of flow that is created by the fencing which works to lead the eyes of the viewer through to the church and the contrast between the lightness of the sky and the darker nature of the landscape. I might have cropped some of the foreground ground.

The light here is perfect, allowing for the enhanced color. The Brass D'Or is the place where I did my first night time kayaking many years ago. In those days we did not have a GPS so we launched at an illuminated church right on the water. It guided us in the pitch black darkness so we could return safely.

Very nice Ellen. Great find. It's not very often I see a church on a hill and this one is situated very nicely. Lovely sunset too. Nice job on the composition.;-)

This is a most tranquil setting and you have showed that in your entry. Should be hanging on the wall.

Enchanting image, Ellen... :)
The quiet church in the quiet crepuscular light.

And the soft colors of the sky.
