One Great Blue Heron making a move to the shore

While on a coastal cleanup hike, this Great Blue Heron was photographed on Norriego Point, along the Destin Harbor in NW Florida-USA, on 17 Sept. 2011.

And here is a in-flight Great Blue Heron (I'm unsure if it is the same heron...there are a number of 'em in this area.)

I like the opening shot with the heron seemingly ready for a plunge into the water to capture a fish. The contrast between the heron and the blue water helps to make the bird stand out strongly in the image and enhances the pose you caught it in.
