Christmas

Canon S100

Merry Christmas ......

My Windows X-P has bit the dust.... So, I'll be out of the photo-processing loop for a while, yet. My HP (with Windows X-P and the HP photo software, included ) was really all I ever needed .....no Photoshop or Elements...
The motherboard is gone and the computer so old now ( 6yrs)
no new ones are available, so i'm kind of lost right now...

'Been using Windows 7 laptop and iMac (last yrs Xmas gift )but it's all just frustration for me, With my old HP windows X-P , photo processing was pretty much auto-pilot
for me.....

In the meantime, I'll continue to enjoy the photos the rest of you share here on photoCritique and maybe gradually work my way through foreign (to me ) photo processing methods , back to photoCritique.

Happy New year , everybody !

Wonderful card indeed, Bruce... :)
Really a festival of lights.

Merry Christmas!

Wonderful Christmasy feel to your composition with lights along the railing working to lead the eyes of the viewer up through the image.

Finally in January of this year I upgraded from Windows XP to Windows 7 and bought a new computer and monitor (from January 1998 until January 2012) and all the difference in how in viewing and accessing (with the old system it used to take 30 minutes to go from start to operating.. now a couple of minutes). Hope you can resolve your computer problem.

And a Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones and may the New Year bring you back to posting on PC with lots of photographic opportunities.

That iMac will do just about everything you could need.
