My preference is for the B & W though that is just the nature of the beast. I feel the closeness of the buildings, the reflection notwithstanding. You might consider tweaking the image a bit to bring some details out of the shadows. I like.

I find a preference for the b&w version also... brings a starkness to the image with the varying toning created between the actual highrises and their reflective counterparts. The inclusion of the people in the street works to bring a sense of scale to the setting.

I see this as a very good starting point. A number of possible comps. Personally I'd
skip the street level area and work on upper areas for something more abstract than
literal. Thanks for snapspeed. I just downloaded it on my i-Pad. Looks like fun.

I'd probably try to improve the perspective distortion.
