How very serene. Only thing distracting to me is the bright spot behind the angler, his tackle kit maybe?

I find the slight misting works to bring a moody feel to your composition of the fisherman. I find a slight cropping from the bottom edge works to give more presence to the sunlight highlighted line leading from the pole to the water.

Less the hot spot behind the fisherman and the one far left, everything
works just fine and makes us feel like wanting to be part of the scene
!

I agree on the hot spot near the fisherman, but completely disagree on
the one on the far left. The light there completes the natural cast
from the sunlight, and removing it would make it look artificial. I
personally might likt to see a little more highlighting in the
foreground to create a subtle path to draw you to the fisherman.

All in all, I REALLY like this piece.
