On a technical level, I'm not quite satisfied about this image for the noise level and other artifacts. Working in the darkness as well (and forgetting to bring some LED lights with me) made me miss the focus a bit here. In the processing, the Red and Blue channels were swapped.

There is a strong symmetrical feel to your composition of the interior of the rotunda which holds the eye of the viewer. The curved arc of the pillars serves to lead one's eye vertically through the picture. It would seem as if the swapping the red and blue channels helped to enhance the sense of contrast and depth in the image.
