I particularly like the image with the blurred nature of the surroundings around the woman walking in the park especially when set against a black background. The other images show the importance to me of having green spaces in an urban environment even if one's mind is on other things.

These scenes don't really excite me much. Sorry to say. But I do like
the tones of Blue your camera is producing or through your RAW
processing. The blue blanket is lovely and I really love that tealish
blue t-shirt in image #4. LOve the folds in that t-shirt.

I was glad to see that not everybody was using a cellphone! Your wife walks very briskly. Nice shot.

Oddly enough, the one with the phones seem the happiest!

There's a story in every scene and it's one that never gets old. Thanks Gregg and Paul for your comments. I like the one of Teresa best, too, Jan and Linda.

People bust me for not owning a cell phone. I think about it
sometimes. I think, "WHAT A HORRIBLE IDEA!" Maybe if I had a job that
required the ability (and dedication) to be in constant communication,
but I don't know a company that would pay enough for that level of
service. For kicks, do a search for "doesn't own a cell phone" and
you'll see a lot of people (still a fraction of the population) who
don't and a lot of good reasons not to.

Nice photos documenting your day in the park. I really like the photo of your wife -- it look like the world is rushing by her.

My dad has no cell phone. Neither does he have a computer and no wish to get one. Although I often chide him about these things, he seems to lead a perfectly normal, happy life.

I resisted getting a cell phone for a very long time. And then resisted moving to a smart phone. Now, I love my iPhone, but I do realize that much of what I do with it is a waste of time.

Delightful people photos , Michael. The OP and following photo clearly depict
electronics in our lives today. You used perfect shutter speed to catch what the guy's
hand was doing. Especially like Theresa "wading" through the flowers.
