Very colorful and I would have thought mannequins but for your comments.
I like the sense of body painting versus tattooing... at least if you change your mind you can wash away the body paint and replace with another design quite easily.

It's basically an art festival, but the art was/is very non-
traditional. Lots of live art and performance-type art. Pretty
cool, actually. Unfortunately, there was a mob of people. And I'm
not an *assertive* photog, which makes for a lot of missed photo
opportunities. Almost all my photos of performers/people are shot
from the waist up.
These models (above) were actually wearing very, very little
clothing -- just barely enough to cover the, um, strategic areas.
There were a number of other artists there doing body painting
too. It seems to be the "thing" these days...
