It looks like it is smileing at me

After a rain I came across this wasp sitting in the flower.I had heard that many flying insects when it rains find a dry place and become inactive. I decided if the inactive state was real and if so would it last shortly after after the rain had stoped. I had my camera and a macro lens so I began shooting up close and the wasp just sat still.I don't belive I proved anything about this inactive in rain story but it made me brave enough to take this image up close with a macro lens.

An interesting capture of the wasp along with accompanying information. I might have gone with a tighter cropping with less of the black bits around the edge of the flower... gives the wasp an overpowering feel within the image, at least for me.
