Simple and effective presentation (especially on a textural level)... one wants to reach right into the image to feel the grain of the stone and trace the vertical cut in the stone. Best with a grey background color.

Lot of texture, the left edge with highlights and the rounded edges draws

There is a crack in the foundation of the . . . gasp . . the end is near . . . and the black of night cometh. We are doomed (WAD). Or do they let photographers in heaven? For now, thanks Greg, for stimulating my imagination once again.
