I was going through the images I had sent to my brother during 2015 and this series is the result.

This image was taken as the floats and marchers for the 2015 Santa Claus and Grey Cup Parade were being corralled into their parade order. There was excitement in the air and the crowds were gathering along the route waiting for the parade participants and Santa Claus.

Makes one wish that the whole parade had taken place during daylight hours.

And thank you for viewing.

This guy had the pose down perfect for the role he was enacting.

Sentimental Journey, the B-17 bomber that was here in 2013, returned to Western Canada Aviation Museum along with Maid in the Shade, a B-25. Both aircraft are part of the Commemorative Air Force, Arizona Wing.

The coureur-des-bois at the Festival du Voyageur in February 2015. An independent French-Canadian woodsman who traveled in New France and the interior of North America. They ventured into the woods usually to trade various European items for furs and along the way, learned the trades and practices of the Native people who inhabited there. These expeditions were fuelled by the beginning of the Fur Trade in the North American interior.

Wonderful series, Jan. Yes -- did you get in for free on Halloween?
If so, we'd like to see a selfie! ;)

Happy New Year to you!
