One can easily see why this bird is called a Goldeneye. Sharp, detailed with the contrast between the plumage of the Common Goldeneye Drake and background creates a pleasing avian composition.

Nice capture of this difficult-to-capture, speedy, little duck! I'd like its near wing to be away from its body and so more on display like the other wing, but the eye grabs the attention so much that it hardly matters. The background is ideal, though noise has interferred a little with its creamy potential. I really like your presentation, especially on black.

Agree with Michael about the wing. I like the colors and the lighting plus very good sharpness on the bird. Good job.;-)

Very nice. Exposure is spot on. It would be easy to expose for the whites and end up with the head looking black instead of green (don't ask how I know that).
