A fitting tribute to Mother Teresa being declared a saint by the Vatican. Best against a black background. Was the tapestry as worn as it appears in the image or did you work on the image to produce the worn feel?

Jan, I did add some contrast to the image but the artist , John
Nava,
wanted a "deteriorated freso texture" He wanted the figures to look
like people we know, and not use a highly stylized form to depict the
saints. Nava's desire is that people identify and see a saint or holy
person that could look like any one of us.

I am not particularly religious, but I do admire and am moved by the
art of these tapestries.

Thanks Jan and Sandi....I think I over-contrasted the original O.P.
This is closer to the deteriorated fresco texture of the 25 tapestries
( each 18 ' high ).
